Tai Chi Controversies
This show of orthodox approach to felicitation of the initial promoters of the art speaks volumes for the authenticity of Tai chi. The Zhaobao Tai Chi martial art form is closely related to the original Chen style of tai chi. In fact, this form of the Chinese martial art has only just been duly recognized by dedicated practitioners of the distinct style in the occident. The term ‘internal that is traditionally called ‘nei chia’ is also common to the martial art, in whatever form. The associated and original forms broadly distinguish what we commonly know as the ‘external’ or Chinese ‘wai chia’ styles. This is done on the basis of the rules and regulations of the Shaolinquan style of Tai chi.
However, this kind of distinction is a topic of much debate and controversy among the modern schools. Tai Chi, in this broad sense, is all encompassing of related arts like Pa Kua Chang and the traditional Hsing-i Ch'üan. These two are traditionally known as the soft martial arts. The art of tai chi comes from a land that is rich in culture and heritage and has given the world a number of life enhancing and intellect boosting methodologies.

Main Points of Tai Chi Chuan
Through time, tai chi chuan has already been adapted to many countries, including the US. This is due to the fact that this can help alleviate various sicknesses and improve health conditions. There are people who can attest that tai chi can help people with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. There are also those that claim that this helps improve their sleeping habits and conditions.
Tai chi is recommended for people of all ages. This is also very much ideal for older ones because they can still focus on their fitness routines despite their age. This is due to the fact the tai chi doesn't require big and strenuous movements. You only have to follow fluid movements and match that with good breathing process. This will allow you to meditate while you are gaining strength from your inner power.
There are tai chi practitioners who teach Traditional Chinese Medicine along with the other movements. This allows you to use your chi or life energy to be able to move your body and to keep it healthy and flexible. They believe that disorders start when your chi is blocked, and this is what they want to focus on. They aim to unblock your chi and restore your healthy in the process.

Tai Chi Chuan: Focusing on the Energy of Mind and Body
You’ll see people gracefully move in unison at parks since breathing exercises are essential in connecting the mind’s tranquility with the fury of the body. A form of meditation, Chinese songs can be played while exercising since the beats of the drums are very relaxing enough to follow without actually falling asleep as compared with the instrumental and jazzy sounds of the violin.
Tai chi chuan is also known to render a much softer style of martial art rather than the more rigorous and aggressive manner of kung-fu and tae kwon do. It is not of a duel but a gesture of releasing the Yang and embracing the Yin in every fluid motion of the hands and feet. It is also defined as sourcing one’s internal powers.
Romantic, healing and contemplative are some of the adjectives that could best associate Tai chi chuan exercise that is why more and more people are getting so hooked to this form of medication. It requires no hypnosis or any voodoo chants to get into the groove but a Yoga-ish trance for one to fully experience the oneness of mind and body.
Tai chi chuan is all about maintaining a healthy lifestyle with the breathing in of good elements and exhaling out the bad, inviting calmness to envelope one’s being and lastly, no Chinese art form is incomplete with the graceful movements of martial arts.
Taichi chuan is best enjoyed alone or even with a group.

Tai Chi Toasts to Renewed Vigor and Strength
Not only does it show increased heart and lung performance, it also stabilizes joints. Through the slow lunges and pivot turns of Tai Chi even the elderly can be sure of their steps. They become very balanced thus they do not become prone to accidents and falls that would definitely injure their aging bones.
Surely, when you see an elderly person bend down to pick up a book that fell or just tie their shoes laces, it would seem an eternity for them to come back to the upright stance. There are even times when they do not have the chance to straighten up since a muscle or joint just got dislocated. Tai Chi is indeed the answer for this dilemma since one’s flexibility is renewed.
Aside from renewed vigor and bodily strength, it can help boost your mind’s performance. Alertness or greater focus on things can help miscalculated responses such as making that wrong turn on a one-way street to even crossing the street while looking at the going traffic hustle but crossing the other way. It s a great stress-buster most especially if you are cramped up in your desk for more than twelve hours. Your shoulders and wrists will take all the punishment. By just engaging a few minutes during lunch break with Tai Chi, you surely will feel an extra surge of energy when you need it the most – usually from 1 in the afternoon until 3.
Tai Chi is ancient China’s mastery on the finer things in life.
